I have visited over 10 times and stayed more than 20 nights. I always had great experience making reservations over the phone as their phone personnel are courteous and very helpful. Checking in, however, is a different story. Their rooms are situated in three different "towers" with two different parking areas: one with both indoor and outdoor parking (Forest Tower and Sun Tower) and one with only outdoor parking (Ocean Tower). At the time of making your reservations, their employees kindly explain that the tower will be assigned when you check in. As a result, there were several times when my family had to return to our car to relocate to the other parking lot to find our rooms, and this is a great inconvenience! And there was once when we reserved a room with twin beds only to find out that those rooms were unavailable and that we had to pay for an extra rollaway bed. And the front desk staff spoke as if this is normal situation and nothing could be done about it. In the room, the ammenities are pretry descent but the TV, which runs from their internet connection, is very poor as pictures are broken in pixels with frequent pauses (sometimes as often as once every 10 seconds or so). The food quality is very good for the most part as they should be with their pricings. The use of swimming pool is also inconvenient as you must reserve a time slot to use the pool and they are very quickly filled. I do, however, see slow but certain improvements here and there but i cannot help thinking that many things with this establishment as a whole is running by trial and error. There were times when my family decided to extend our stay by one extra night and were told that we still need to checkout bt 11AM then check-in again as the room type we require (usually just a deluxe room with twin beds) is no longer available in the current tower of our stay. So how a guests' tower is assigned remains a great mystery to my family. As a Korean-American family, the Inspire offers both satisfaction and disappointment when we visit to reminisce the original Mohegan Sun back in Connecticut.
